Arranged by the Hani and Yis communities throughout the centuries, Yuanyang rize terraces in Yunnan province could be considered as a piece of art that I had the chance to discover at the beginning of my stay in China.

Ethnic minorities live in the mountains right above the impressive rice terraces that cover more than 12500 hectares of the region. Seen from the top, the beauty of the terraces' colourful curves suggests that Van Gogh's brush took possession of the landscape turning this place into an incredible wonder in Yunnan.

23rd-25th September.
