Philadelphia

I would have loved to post more articles about our journey in the United States, unfortunately I ran out of time to keep this blog updated. So I'm trying to catch up with a quick flash back telling you the most important moments of this trip in America.

I would have loved to post more articles about our journey in the United States, unfortunately I ran out of time to keep this blog updated. So I'm trying to catch up with a quick flash back telling you the most important moments of this trip in America.

To start with Philadelphia which is a really charming city where we stayed for a weekend. We stayed at a couchsurfer's, Eric who took us around the city and some really good bars. We tried a few locale specialities: cheesteak (litterally a sandwich with meat and cheese) and hoagies which is a big sandwich that we can fill up with anything.

We went to the Rocky stairs where the popular training scenes of the film were shot. There's even a statue of the boxer there! But we couldn't leave Philly without seeing the Liberty Bell which is the symbol of the American independence and stand out for its long crack.

Finally if you go to Philadelphia and you're craving for a snack, go to Francklin Ice cream  (116 Market Street), a traditional ice cream place which has an amazing menu with ice cream and milshakes that you won't forget!
